Flying Tiger Aviation & Support Services | Our Staff

Flying Tiger Aviation was founded in 1998 by several Canadians who joined forces to start a specialized rotary wing support operation that they believed could deliver an improved service to clients.
The company has grown and expanded dramatically since then and now employs over 50 full-time staff from over 20 countries throughout the world. Headquartered in Hong Kong and Canada but with an on-site presence in all of its key operational markets, Flying Tiger Aviation and Support Service’s staff all have extensive operational and management experience in rotary wing operations.
With an operational focus on the Oil & Gas (OAG) sector, the Search & Rescue (SAR) sector and Aeromedical / Emergency Medical Services (EMS) sector, Flying Tiger Aviation and Support Services is also a leader in project management, specialized training (both Simulator based and live training), and leasing services.
Management has a clear vision of what capabilities the company can offer and given the various financial and operational hazards that can befall rotary wing operations, staff are very focused on service execution. All our pilots and training crew have widespread experience, with thousands of hours of operational experience in all situations relevant to rotary wing operations. Furthermore, given the countries and the challenging environments that Flying Tiger Aviation operates in, every employee is hired on the basis of their ability to do the job effectively. In addition, since most of our staff in the field need to work with people from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, there is a strong emphasis on working effectively within the social norms of the host country. This is particularly acute when it comes to the training division of Flying Tiger Aviation, an area that is seeing explosive growth as we transfer skills to the different operators.
