Flying Tiger Aviation has worked with several major Asian hospital organisations to study and develop EMS (Emergency Medical Services) programs, which were the first dedicated EMS program in these particular countries. The successful ongoing programs required the team at Flying Tiger Aviation to undertake the following:

  • Research the prospective client base in all regions of the nation
  • Open communications with the local Department of Civil Aviation and other regulatory authorities and undertake the flight approvals process for the specialized helicopter operation
  • Work daily with the medical insurer to develop the required customized medical insurance/medical evacuation policy
  • Survey all rooftop helipad site requirements and rural helipad site requirements, obtain the required regulatory approvals, and oversee construction and completion
  • Source the most suitable helicopter and support equipment required
  • Arrange leasing and financing arrangements for the helicopters required
  • Create and implement a training program and Safety Management System (SMS) for both day and night time flight operations
  • Create a dispatch system that would link all applicable medical centers, the main medical center, and the aviation operator
